image055.jpg Victoria Beckham who was born on 17 April, 1974, who has a birth name as Victoria Caroline Beckham, is a famous English Pop singer, songwriter, dancer, an occasional actress too, who turned to be a successful fashion designer and a powerful entrepreneur.

She has become even more famous for her hairstyles. Victoria Beckham hair is something many young ladies try to emulate. Most recently, Victoria cut her hair and immediately many referred to the cut as the “Pob.” With hubby, David, cutting his hair short, the Beckham hair tradition must be carried on by Posh.

She is recognized as one of the most photographed style icons and a very successful entrepreneur. She is nicknamed as Posh. She married the football superstar David Beckham on 4th March 1999, in London, England. Their son Brooklyn Joseph, who was named after the city where he was conceived, who was just 4 months old, was the ring bearer in the wedding ceremony. Pictures of Victoria and David were searched for all over the internet.

 

Victoria Beckham, who was a famous English singer, is a successful fashion icon and has carved her own way in the fashion line. In the year Victoria Beckham, designed a fashion line for the famous “Rock and Republic”, and the line was named as “VB Rocks”. This fashion line mostly consisted of jeans and it mainly aimed at the high end of the market. Approximately the retail went up to 300$ in U.S. After working on this Jeans line Victoria Beckham, worked on a range of women’s clothes too which included shirts and skirts, exclusively for women. The best features of this clothing line are that they carried a logo of a crown with the letters VB, which stood for Victoria Beckham. Victoria Beckham ceased working with rock and republic in September 2006 and then launched her own Denim line and label. This new line of Denim collection of Victoria Beckham is been called as DVB Style, namely David Victoria Beckham Style.

 

Victoria Beckham not only kept her foot in the fashion line, but image043.jpgwas also briefly the face of Rocawear, and in association with the famous Japanese store Samantha Thavasa, Victoria Beckham, produced a range of handbags and jewellery. She even tried her hands in releasing a line of Sunglasses labeled as DVB Eyewear, in July 2006, and she was been photographed wearing the same line of sunglasses at the World Cup games. In September 2006, in association with a perfume manufacturer Coty, Victoria Beckham launched his-and –her fragrance line, labeled as Intimately Beckham. To promote all her fashion stuff, Victoria Beckham launched her new website dbstyle.com, where she has created her own blogs and updates her photos and keeps writing about herself to her viewers. Not surprisingly, Victoria Beckham hair is often discussed.

Victoria Beckham even tried her hand in styling her close family friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in February 2007, for the 2007 Academy Awards. In March 2007, she also styled Katie Holmes for the cover shoot of US Harpers Bazaar magazine. She even was the guest fashion designer for the same magazine. Victoria Beckham was a judge at London’s annual Graduate Fashion Week in June 2007, where even Zandra Rhodes was a judge too. In the same time Victoria Beckham was been awarded two awards – British Glamour Magazine Awards – one for “woman of the year” and the second one for the “Entrepreneur of the Year”. These magazines even celebrated her achievements in the fashion line. In September 2007, her cosmetic line which was a debut hit the stores of Tokyo and the cosmetic line was labeled as V-Sculpt. Terry Richardson, assisted in the art work of the launching her fragrance line Intimately Beckham. Victoria Beckham is even the brand ambassador for RM which is run by Roland Mouret. Recently, even a heeled shoe line has been named after Victoria Beckham, The Victoria which was released by Giambattista Valli. She released her autobiography which was titled as “Learning to Fly”, and it was the 3rd best selling of 2001 under the category of non-fiction style. She published her second book in the year 2006, entitled as That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between, and was about the fashion. The book was co-authored by Hadley Freeman. The book was rated as number 2 according to the Times Book charts.
